Walking in a Winter Wonderland

We woke up this morning to 10 inches of fresh snow! It was beautiful outside and so we took the kids for a walk. After about 45 minutes, we noticed a deer carcass about 20 yards off of the path that we were walking on. Based on the tracks and the complete destruction of the deer, we assume it was a mountain lion. We turned around quickly and headed back to the lodge, but not before stopping and taking a family portrait. Of course.

And once again, more pictures can be found on the my flickr page or on facebook!
