Children+Cell Phones=Mirror

I had taken the kids into Wal-Mart the other day and while checking out, my kids noticed the play cell phones. Immediately they were smitten. I was not.

I told them they could use their money the next time we came in to buy the phones if they really REALLY wanted them.

They scrounged up some money that their grandparents gave them yesterday and we HAD to make a return trip.

As we were walking through the store, they busted the phones out and were chatting with their "high school friends." I tried telling them to watch out for the other patrons of the store and Lucy looked up at me and with her single pointer finger raised at me-said, "Mommy, you can't talk to me when I'm on the phone. Don't you know that?"

Sigh.
I guess I deserve that.

And my cell phone is now in time out.

First of all, also have bought those play cell phones at Walmart thank you! This week, Bennett made a rule for mommy "No more talking on the phone" so I understand this post.
